The century-old shadow organization, Order of the Black Sun, has been quietly placing its members at the highest levels of the world’s economic industries. The Committee, an elite watchdog group, has been tracking the Black Sun and believes its motives are clear. What they can’t see is the bizarre deception within.
Ethan Grey received the mysterious video journal of an unknown young woman that includes a documentary about an apocalyptic event that has never actually occurred. Date codes suggest the event could somehow still be a few years away. It should all be dismissed as an elaborate hoax if not for images of the same unidentified energy that destroyed his classified research facility and killed his colleagues years earlier. A strange accident he was warned not to investigate.
Ethan reluctantly confides in Alexandria Zavalla, a friend of his deceased wife. She’s fascinated by the mystery and eager for adventure. A deal is struck that begins a global search for answers Ethan isn’t sure he wants to find.
The quest eventually crosses the Black Sun and exposes a revelation that their leader has found a supposed ancient power that was taken from mankind and lost 4000 years ago. In part to guidance from a personage he can’t prove is even real, Ethan uniquely begins to understand the Black Sun’s hidden agenda not to control the power, but to destroy it, with consequences beyond comprehension.
Still plagued by nightmares and doubt, and with questionable assistance from the Committee, Ethan accepts a charge to recover the power and continue its original journey to a place known as the Heart of Fear. It’s a suicide mission that will not only challenge everything he believes possible, but reveal a truth capable of healing the tear in reality – the very hope of a gifted young woman who kept a journal.
